Not everybody has the luxury of being able to wakeboard year round, especially during the winter months. During this holiday season we want to give you some tips on how to keep training, even if you can’t actually get onto the water to practice.
Youtube is a great resource for learning how to do things. Watch as many wakeboarding tutorials, trick videos, and anything else you find will further your education. Really take some time and analyze what you’re watching. You can learn a lot, especially from the instructional videos.
Keep up with your balance and board control by skateboarding. As long as it’s not snowing outside you can skateboard. Even if it is snowing outside, Find your nearest local hill and carve some snow to stay in shape.
Continue to build core and muscle strength by lifting weights. This can be done indoors. Create a schedule of what muscles to focus on each day or week. Great strength goes along way when you’re wakeboarding, waterskiing, or doing any other water sport.
