  6. Another thing I ask a new driver to do is to pick a spot and lock onto it and use your leg / toes to press against the bottom of the steering wheel so it can not be turned without relaxing the pressure from the leg

    • Evan, you are insightful! Isolation is probably the right word since we are not infected. “Isolation Barefooting” did not sound like the right title, but it is certainly more accurate 🙂

    • It is amazing how differently you think when it is your own family or child. As he is also learning to drive a vehicle, and since he is very intelligent, I am impressing upon him the lethality of driving so that he not only has a reverence for it, but also pride in a skill that is honed.
